- Dear Louis & Wilmé
My daughter and friends had a really enjoyable time and found
the facility was alot more than they expected.. Very
spacious and neat and with an absolutely beautiful view, they were just prepared to sit
back and chill in the pleasant surroundings. Were
very sorry to have stayed such a short time and will definitely be back

- Dear Wilme & Louis,
We had a wonderful stay at the
Oystercatcher, thank you. From the time that Olga and Bert greeted us on arriving at
Gansbaai, to our departure, we truly enjoyed our stay at the Oystercatcher.

- Dear Wilme & Louis,
I must admit that we were not sure what to expect on arrival (pictures never tell
a true story). We arrived late and even in the dark we were blown away. What a stunning
place, everything was in place/perfect. Unfortunately, the weather was not kind to us and
the Gansbaai Fees was quite disappointing. We bought lots of wood and just chilled
for the weekend - what a change for us! We loved it and would definitely come back when
the weather is kinder, so that we can explore and see what Gansbaai really has to offer.
Thank you very much for letting us use your spectacular accommodation. We
will definitely be back and will spread the word.

- Whale of a time Very spacious and neat
accommodation. Lots of space for 3 and 5 year old boys to ride on strider riders when not
out exploring. Very thankful for no smoking in house. Very quiet and safe area. Had a
"Whale" of a time and saw many Whales. Will definitely be back. The
Safarinow.com team where excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

- Our stay at
Oystercatcher A really lovely house, very secure area, nice people live
around this area. The house is super clean, and tastefully decorated, there is loads of
space, the kids fell in love with the table tennis room! I have never slept as well as I
did at the Oystercatcher! There are fantastic views from the verandah. We wish we had
planned to stay longer there!

- Stunning! A beautiful
place to stay! We stayed here for 2 days, and it was a great base for
exploring the area. The house is beautiful and in a very quiet location off the main
streets, and has the most stunning views across the sea to Hermanus. Michael is incredibly
friendly and helpful. A few metres from the house is a beautiful beach cove too. Very
comfortable accommodation, with great facilities - including a ping pong table - and very
friendly local dogs! We will be back during whale season for sure!

- Feel at home Lovely spacious home
with all the home comforts and a lovely view from the lounge area. The open plan living
area allowed us to chat while cooking/ watching tv /reading. The kitchen could use a few
more utensils (ie wooden spoon) and pans but the basics were there. The bedrooms are
gorgeous and beds are firm and comfortable. We had many barbeques (braais) on the
sundrenched porch (stoep). The friendly neighbour across the road gave many tips on what
we could do and we did the following: -We drove via Stanford to the dunes and walked to
Hermanus (took 3 hours) via the beach (7 hour round trip). -snorkelled in the pools near
the coffee shop.-The kelp has an abundance of sea life. -We had regular walks into the
nature reserve and investigating the caves. -Marine boat tour to shark alley from nearby
kleinbaai -Visited all the pearly beaches, bays, lighthouses and lagoons in the vicinity
-Our 4x4 gave us the freedom to venture a bit more than than normal vehicles.
